A dedicated camera is always going to work better, especially connected to a computer than a phone. Phones can work well but they're limited in what they can do.

That's a great question! There's a few things to consider. Ideally, you want a balance, a high user-to-room ratio means more viewers per model, which is good for exposure. A "sweet spot" is a moderate number of rooms with a solid number of users then you’re not lost in the crowd but still have a decent audience. Sometimes, certain tags/trends get temporary boosts so checking analytics over different times helps.

So How to Decide?
Best Case: A tag/category with a high user count but a lower room count is ideal.

Second Best: If all high-user tags are oversaturated, look for a niche with a decent user count but fewer rooms.

Avoid: Tags where there are too many rooms and too few users because competition is high, and exposure is low.

Next Steps:
1. Use the Analyze Tool to track users per room over different times.
2. Test different categories/tags for a few sessions and compare your viewer stats.
3. Adjust based on which brings more engagement & tips, not just traffic.

i recently had a man reach out to me from my Chaturbate stream and purchased my snapchat with tokens, where he then asked how i did not have as many people as we both thought i should have had. As well as he thought i hadnt reached near my full potential on the site and he could help by promoting me on social media, (like posting from his phone, content i send him, 5-9 times a day. Also, i was required to make a OF and that is how he "scaled" his payment. i was a little confused about that part. He said he would be taking 20% of what i generate off of OF, thats it. i was hesitant to say the least. When i asked him why he thought i needed him and why i couldnt just do it myself. however, he would not be back online to my CB room. so he would not be a "moderator" for it. i started thinking "okay maybe see what all he brings to the table?" he will analiyze, crunch the numbers, and do all the posting and demanding things. he will just message me when he needs a specific content made. Also found it weird that he said he would only take revenue from my OF, bc i explicitly explained i didnt want to make a OF, and that i wish i could just pay him to run my social media accounts, he didnt like that idea. When i about OF and people messaging me, he said he would handle messages on OF (i found that very weird), and that got me thinking about him promoting my CB. I asked, "so on my OF and OF messages youll be promoting my CB account?" he said yes. then i asked, "so if someone wants to skip CB and purchase my snapchat, how would that work?" he said he would get 20% of that purchase as well. (keep in mind this was all after the fact, he sent me a contract and "what he does". when i told him that CAM 101 allows models to analyize the different sites, myself as a model, as well as my streams. He cut me off and encouraged his "effort to promoting me on socials", as well as, "so much help with OF". I entrusted my # to him so i could really consider if this was real, a con, or if it could be helpful. However, he said i would have to upload the content that i make and want posted on my socials or content he may need, to HIS google dropbox. i laughed, and told him i was not comfortable with that. if anything, i will make my own dropbox and send it to him. i asked to use another way bc i was not familiar with dropbox. I asked if i could just send them over the phone or email. he said "no because it tends to make them small" but in my case, he has a iphone and i do too. no body has ever complained of that and ive sent 3 min videos all the time. this is when i decided to ask about it. i will post pictures of some of the conversation we had over text. we had one phone call at first but i was still very confused. i will also post the "contract" he came up with and wanted me to sign in a matter of only 5 hours. wont be able to post all of the conversation but i will post what he sent me in text, contract, and the overall details of our phone call (he made it so i wouldnt forget), and details of exactly what all he would be doing. only his first name is mentioned, otherwise names are not mentioned. PLEASE, if you have had anyone con you like this? or is this person being legit? and why should i let him have 20% of any OF sales, when all hes doing is posting for me and doing things i could do myself.. yes they are demanding and i would 100% love to pay someone to promote me on socials for me and post for me, but its like he was pushing for this certain thing and it gave me weird vibes! need to know if this is something people do!!! HELP!!

Be VERY weary of rando's reaching out to help you "maximize your potential". Many are scams. You should pass and block this person.

This sounds like someone trying to trap you into a bad deal, if not outright scam you. You're absolutely right to question it!
A legitimate social media manager should respect your business model and preferences. Taking a percentage rather than a flat fee is a major red flag, and handling messages means he could be impersonating you, scamming fans, or even rerouting money. Also pressuring you to sign a contract in just 5 hours without giving you time to review it is a major warning sign. Refusing to use your Dropbox or another method YOU are comfortable with suggests he wants control over your content, possibly to use it in ways you didn’t agree to.
Trust your instincts.

Marketing on social media. I'd recommend being on X and Reddit and posting content here since they allow porn content. That can help drive viewers to your live streams.

Set Up Your Webcam

1. Open XSplit Broadcaster.
2. On the bottom of the screen, you’ll see the Scene options. Click on Scene 1 (or any scene you want to set up).
3. Click the Add Source button at the bottom.
4. Navigate to:
Devices > Video > [Your Webcam Name]
5. Your webcam feed should appear on the screen.
6. You can resize and move the webcam window to where you want it.

Add the Lovense Interface to XSplit

1. Open XSplit Broadcaster.
2. Click Add Source > Screen Capture > Window Capture.
3. Select the Lovense Connect app window from the list.
4. Resize and position the capture window on your stream layout.

If you don’t want viewers to see it, just keep it off-screen or hidden.

Step 5: Save Your Setup (So You Don’t Redo It Each Time)

Once you have your webcam and Lovense sources positioned.
Go to File > Save Project As (what ever you want to call it)... and save it.

Next time, open this project, and everything should load with your devices ready.

Troubleshooting
Lovense window not showing in XSplit? Run both apps as Administrator.

Hi, are you still on the free version, or are you now paying for the service?
It may be either that once the free year has expired then the ability to save a config must be paid for, or that it has always been a "pay for" feature

I like Stripchat for making income better than chaturbate. If you don’t mind being recorded during public shows, you can set that option on Stripchat. I always get a few people recording me, which I don’t mind but that’s up to you. But it adds up per minute recorded. They have 2 different privates. One is exclusive where no one can spy. I’m a 66 year old male and do way better than I thought on there.

my question is: is fanberry made to assist you while streaming? or is it a separate thing all together? do i still have to use lovense connect or is it to cut out lovense connect? does anyone use it and have any luck with it?

You could frame your response in a way that emphasizes the general nature of the transactions while staying vague about the specifics.

"The payments and purchases are part of my involvement in a legitimate online platform for entertainment and personal development. These expenses relate to a subscription and status upgrades for services that offer both entertainment and community interaction, which I participate in as part of my personal interests."

Something like that 👍

Ty guess that's the only real way lol
I know most do this as a cam models but protecting your content from being recorded and shared online without consent is a crucial part of safeguarding your privacy, reputation, and earnings. While it’s impossible to completely eliminate the risk, here are some best strategies to deter piracy and protect your work.

1. Use Display Names or Client Names to Discourage Uploads
Call out viewer usernames during your streams to make recordings less appealing for redistribution.
Example: “Thank you, BigTipper123, for that amazing tip!”
By tying content to specific viewers, uploaders will hesitate to share videos with their username attached.
Do this especially in private shows where recordings are more likely.
Offer name callouts as a premium perk for tippers to make it fun and engaging.

2. Display a Light Box or Streaming Platform Name in the Background
Place a custom LED sign or light box in your background with the name of the streaming platform (e.g., “Live on Chaturbate”).
This branding makes stolen content easily identifiable, discouraging pirates from uploading it elsewhere.
Position the sign in clear view behind you, ensuring it’s readable on camera.
Use dynamic designs, such as flashing lights or changing text, to make it harder to edit out.

3. Add Watermarks to Your Stream
Overlay a visible watermark on your video with the platform name and/or your username.
Tools like OBS Studio and Streamlabs OBS allow you to add watermarks easily.
Watermarks make it clear who owns the content and where it originated, discouraging redistribution.
Even if videos are stolen, viewers will know where to find you directly.

4. Block Regions to Reduce Exposure
Most camming platforms allow you to geo-block specific countries or regions.
Block areas where you live or where you’re concerned about being recognized.

5. Use DMCA Takedown Services
Sign up for a DMCA takedown service to monitor and remove stolen content from the internet.
Popular services include:
DMCA.com
Reputation Defender
Remove Your Media
These services scan websites for stolen content and file takedown requests to remove them.

6. Use Anti-Recording Tools
Some platforms notify you if someone takes a screenshot or attempts to record. Choose platforms with built-in protections, such as Cam4.
Third-party tools like NoDownloadZone can add an extra layer of security.

7. Display Disclaimers
Add a written disclaimer to your profile or chatroom that explicitly prohibits recording or sharing.
Example:
“By watching this stream, you agree not to record, screenshot, or distribute my content. Legal action will be taken against violators.”
Occasionally remind viewers during the stream:
Example: “Remember, this content is for live viewing only. No recordings allowed!”

8. Monitor and Search for Stolen Content
Regularly search for your content online using tools like:
Google Reverse Image Search
Image Raider
You can also hire professionals to do this for you.

9. Protect Your Identity
Never share personal information, including your real name, address, or location.
Use a stage name and a VPN (Virtual Private Network) to mask your IP address and location.

10. Offer Incentives for Respecting Your Rules
Build a loyal fanbase by rewarding viewers who follow the rules.
Example: “You’ve been so amazing about not recording! I’ll be doing an exclusive show for top tippers soon.”

Unauthorized recordings can harm your career, reputation, and income. By taking these proactive steps, you’re not only protecting yourself but also creating a more professional and engaging environment for your fans.

So in Summary
Combining these tactics—like using client names, displaying platform branding, using watermarks, and employing DMCA services—will significantly reduce the risk of your content being recorded or stolen. Remember, while you can’t stop every attempt, you can make it much harder for others to profit from your hard work.
I will add it's not always users that do it either, white label site's are the worst for it and these can be difficult to remove but these steps will help.

I wish you all good luck 🤞and have fun.

Thanks! I need to implement some of these things. I do have a disclaimer and I’ve thought about using watermarks or signs in my streams. I just wasn’t sure how well those would be received by my viewers. I was worried that viewers might be turned off by flashy words or images. I will have to see what I can come up with.

Give things a try and they don't need to be flashing, it will just look part of the site and show. To be honest I'm sure viewers will be looking at you rather than the sign and it can be made to be fun 😊

A bit of implementing a stratage.

Add a banner or chat command to encourage tips for shoutouts:
Example: “Tip 100 tokens, and I’ll say your name during the stream!”
Make the use of names feel fun and flirty to maintain a comfortable atmosphere.

Light Box or LED Sign.
Look for customizable options like Amazon, Search for “Cinematic Light Box” or “Custom LED Neon Signs.”
Etsy: Custom light signs designed for specific aesthetics.
If you don’t want a physical sign, use a TV, monitor, or tablet behind you to display the same text.

Create a Watermark, Design a simple text or logo image using tools like Canva or Photoshop.
Include the platform name and/or your username (e.g., “@YourUsername | Streaming on Chaturbate”).
Start a private or unlisted stream to ensure the watermark looks good on camera.

Platforms like Chaturbate, MyFreeCams, and Streamate offer geo-blocking options.

DMCA.com: Offers monitoring and takedown notices.
Reputation Defender: Focuses on online reputation and stolen content.
Remove Your Media: Specializes in adult content takedowns.
Platforms like Cam4 notify you if someone takes a screenshot or uses recording tools.

Create new email addresses, social media accounts, and payment details tied only to your camming work. 👍

Hi Jamie. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot and resolve the problem:

Review Activity Descriptions: Ensure that each activity in your list has a unique and clear description. Duplicate or overly similar descriptions can cause errors.

Check Activity Settings: Verify that all required fields for each activity are properly filled out. Incomplete settings can prevent you from going live.

If they don't help have a look at the "Help Center with articles and guides for models".

You can also consider reaching out to Stripchat's support team for personalized assistance. There is a stripchat rep on this site if you can contact them.

There is also online communities of cam models can be beneficial. Platforms like Reddit have active forums where models share experiences and advice. For example, the r/CamGirlProblems subreddit is a place where you might find others who have faced similar issues.

Hope this helps.
