Honestly, the biggest game-changer for me was switching to interactive toys — once viewers can control the experience, engagement skyrockets! Better lighting was a close second though. Natural light or a decent ring light makes such a difference in how professional your stream looks. What's everyone else finding works best?

I think I switched it up after my first big paycheck. I saw how much activity other models were getting in their rooms. I wish there was a personal beginner how-to for us! Like personal coaching....

As for me, the lighting is driving me crazy: I can't stand working with my gear anymore. It's awful—sometimes I look like I've been dipped in something radioactive, I get so pale and washed out, or else it's so dark that I've almost given up several times 🤣

I agree! There simply must be a better way! Ring lights break too often and aren't cheap... especially for an 18" which is my fave! Natural light is great but that's hard to do all the time. Lmk if you figure anything out! ❤️

For me, I think it was that I started talking when I stream. Since I started, I did not speak. But I have seen my tips pick up since I began speaking more. I'm getting more comfortable with it.

I've been playing music in my room for a while now. Lately I've had users tell me that one of the reasons they like my room is the music that I play! I'm old, so I play a lot of 70's and 80's classics. Seems like I found a niche!!

The big change for me was when i changed my settings and got more confidence because of that! I put on music, and i use the note thing behind viewers username a lot, so i remember things they tell me and that way i made way better connection with them!
