Hey Julia, I totally understand the frustration — dealing with unwanted co-stream requests from random people can really kill the vibe. A gender/preference filter for co-streaming is actually a great idea. I'd suggest posting this in the Feature Ideas channel too if you haven't already, so the dev team sees it more easily. In the meantime, hopefully the reject option at least gives you some control, even if it's not perfect yet. Hang in there!
