#Help/Advice PM for every Message?

Hello,
I'm not entirely sure how CB works yet, but does the user pay the price for a PM for every message exchanged, or just once, regardless of how many messages are exchanged afterwards?

Great question! On Chaturbate, the model sets a PM rate per message — so viewers pay that amount for each individual message they send to you. Once you set a price (e.g. 10 tokens per message), every message they send costs that. Some models set a session rate instead, but by default it is per message. Check your broadcaster settings under Private Messages to configure your preferred rate. Hope that helps! 😊

So, if I have set the price for messages in my Tip-Menu to 8 Tokens, the price is per message? Yesterday I have streamed and one user commented that the price was not per message, but for the opportunity to write to the model, regardless of how many messages followed.

You raise a good point! There are actually two different PM settings on Chaturbate: the Tip Menu "PM" option (which is per message) and the "PM Session" option (which is a one-time fee for unlimited messages for a set duration). If your viewer mentioned the price was not per message, they may have been on a session-based setup. Double-check your broadcaster settings to confirm which mode is active — you can have both options listed, so it is worth reviewing which one is showing to viewers. Hope that clears it up! 😊

Okay, but where can I find the broadcaster settings where I can see which mode is active for private messages? I only find the normal broadcaster settings which look like the one in the picture. 🤔 There I can't find any options for the PN mode.
