*It loves to delete my rules without my permission *it does not like to work on more than one site *it does not allow me access to the chatbox *I set rules I save them and it deletes them all in the span of 5 minutes *I can no longer generate control links *It messes with some of my sites so I have to use a totally different browser just to access those sites. *This extension is supposed to be helpful but it is not
I lost a lot of money today because this always happens to me, and from what replies I have ever gotten from them lovense couldn't care less.😡
Oh and before you say it!
FUCK NO to sm that is a horrible piece of junk and is not user friendly at all.
yes it is. I have Tried using it. Others have Tried using it. just scrap the whole thing and go back the the extension and fix the issues with it.
What OS are you using? Which browser? Which version of the extension are you using? Do you have Developer Mode on in the browser? Do you have Lovense Connect installed also (the stand alone app)?

windows 11, it never updated itself so its almost the most recent one, yes dev mode is on, it has been for 2 years now, yes I have the lovense connect installed.
The issues are from the extension itself.

I'd check to make sure your anti-virus isn't deleting the files. Also make sure you're using the latest version of the plugin.
It is not my anti-virus that is causing this issue. It is the Lovense Cam Extension.
How can I be so sure?
I disable the extension and the sites that I have issues with work, and sometimes it will remember my rules when I turn it back on if it was my "anti-virus deleting the files" turning off the extension and turning it back on again would not bring the rules back.
So it is the Lovense Cam Extension itself that is causing the issues, not my anti-virus, not my OS, not my Browser, not my settings.
It is the Lovense Cam Extension. And if the extension needs an update why doesn't it like with the Lovense OBS Toolset, when I launch my browser say "there is an update to this extension would you like to update it?"
Other extensions can do this with my Browser why can't Lovense Cam Extension? I mean like I said it will literally do that with the Lovense OBS Toolset when I launch OBS and there is an update for the Toolset.
Beloved, let's resist the temptation of rushing to a conclusion before identifying all the facts. As a formerly 4x over-employed software engineer, who's known Lovense for approximately 72hrs, half of which was spent on investigating compatibility issues with Ubuntu and having the daily dose of existential crisis, I agree with the assessment that things could be significantly improved.
That being said, I'm also 95% certain the chain of command, from the lady who did the voice-over for the short tutorial videos up to the management, is likely all Chinese. We are quite good at copying code, but could sometimes be lacking on maintenance. Although, to be fair and personally speaking, with 72 hours of experience, I frankly do not know which alternative f-machine manufacturer has an entire section of their website on API documentation.
Would it be all right for us to be a tiny bit more forgiving of each other? After all, we would not be gathered here to discuss the serious matters of open-source software and maintenance.
Besides, unless Lovense has managed to make a significant breakthrough in AGI and kept it a secret, I could personally vouch for the cam extension that it was probably just innocently executing some less than ideal code with your computer. I certainly hope the extension did not have such a bad time with your CPU as to hate you. 🙏🫶😘
