Cam extension developer mode

#Cam Extension Cam extension developer mode

I've downloaded the latest version of the cam extension but it is wanting me to keep developer mode on all the time to use it. I've read varying things on how safe it is to use developer mode so I'm concerned about leaving it on all the time. Is this okay to do or is there a way around it? I never used to have a problem with the old cam extension/browser.

What have you downloaded the latest cam extension on to?
And what is asking for developer mode - the app, the OS, or the browser?
A few details of all of the above would also be helpful - device, OS, browser etc thanks x

Hi, Thanks for your reply. Sorry I should have said, I downloaded it on Chrome. I used to use the lovenser browser but now I use it on Chrome. It's my extensions page that is requiring developer mode to be on. I'm just on a laptop with windows 11.

Hi Billie,

Running developer mode is correct, and should present no issues.
It is only enabled to allow the full functionality of the extension.
