#Help/Advice Why do other performers join my Chaturbate room?
Is there a reason why other performers will join your room but not interact? I'm a male performer and basically minutes after starting my room, I'll get like 5-15 female performers in my room. But they never chat or tip or engage or usually even follow haha. I'm just so confused by it. Is it an algorithm thing?

I think they want to see a good looking male model while they are doing their show. Enjoy and spend your time with the people that chat, tip and play. Best of luck!

I don't mind that when I'm on as it shows more users in the room and so I move further up on the list of popular rooms.
Only thing I don't like is if they start advertising their own rooms as well.
That's what the silence/kick/ban buttons are for, or even worse my sarcasm first 🤣🤣

I'd bet a bunch of them are bots. Others are there to see what you're doing to get tips/ideas.

Well it's strange because it's almost always girls on my page. But I'm a guy, so I have a very different audience. And I can click on their name and see them camming, so I don't think they are bots.

I'll take the compliment if hot cam girls just want to be on my page lol. But I also wanted to know if there was some algorithmic reason for being in another person's channel when you're streaming. I know every platform has different behaviors that push you up on the internal rankings

As a follow up: I've heard that they may just be people trying to poach viewers. So if other cammers come in, don't interact, don't follow, don't participate, and then leave after like 5-10 minutes, they probably just tried to pull viewers from your room. Crazy!
