#Tech help Direct Messaging not working on iPhone
I use both Chrome and Safari in incognito mode on an iPhone 11 running OS 16.2 to view the mobile website.
The message icon in the top menu bar only shows up in Landscape mode on either browser.
When selected, it does nothing, no message pop up at all.
I do get different results if I switch to the desktop website on my mobile, but that is not an option for regular use (can provide details if asked)

Technically its called a non-reactive website. Sounds like a developer issue.

Technically speaking (from my day work in software) to have a messaging function that doesn't work on a mobile platform is rather out of whack (technical term lol) with how the whole world uses mobiles.
You're right, sounds like the PM/PO needs to take a look at this 👀🤔

"Reactive" is when the site knows what the end point device is (desktop vs mobile) and send the right code to make it display properly.
