#New member New Stripchat Rules

simply curious if anybody has seen the new stripcaht broadcast rules. This might change how some models use this platform for public shows. Got to wonder what made stripchat make these new rules below.

IMPORTANT RULES UPDATE

1. Streaming in public places IS NOT ALLOWED
A public place is considered to be any location available to the public with the risk of anyone who is not a model appearing on camera.

Allowed:

Streaming outdoors, where there is NO RISK of people who are not models to be on camera
Places with 100% guarantee that only verified models will appear on camera i.e. cars, balconies, backyards, toilets
Not Allowed:

Streaming in public places, such as cafes, libraries, and malls
Showing anyone in the background (not even briefly passing by)
Steaming from a public place regardless of whether or not people are present

I hadnt seen the rules but my guess is they're trying to get ahead of any future issues....aka covering their asses.

You are probably right. I wonder if they are going actually enforce the new broadcast rules knowing a large portion of Stripchat is based on people broadcasting from various public places.

You are welcome, just sharing because often we just go live and never really thinking about broadcast rules that might get models in trouble. Although I do not agree with the new Stripchat rules. Since part of the fun is taking your shows to public places for added fun and excitement.

I agree 100%, it was more fun and exciting to stream in public, of course, with no one getting involved in our business hehe <3
