Please introduce yourself to Cam101! What’s your name, where are you from, what sites do you work on, and what are your pronouns?
It’s your favorite trans gooning goddess Lola Minaj. I am originally from the Midwest, Kansas specifically, and am currently calling it home. I work on multiple platforms in several different arenas. You can find my live shows at Chaturbate. Want to have some naughty phone fun over with me at Niteflirt? A one-on-one video chat is what gets you going? Well lets SkyPrivate. Fun mesmerizing content to help grow your spank bank is found at www.iWantLolaMinaj.com . And for my best and most loyal fans, they can join the party at LoyalFans! My pronouns are she/her they/them. Goddess/queen/vision of beauty is also acceptable.

What inspired you to enter the adult industry and how has your experience been so far?
Well, unfortunately for a lot of LGBTQIA (I prefer QUEER) people, we get into the adult industry for survival, and that is how my story started. I participated in survival SW until 2015 when after a horrible ice storm, I developed frostbite from hustling outside, I discovered Chaturbate. I really enjoyed streaming live, it was not only safer, I was able to tap into a kinky, fun, personable side that I didn't know existed! In 2016 and 17 I was nominated for AVN Top Trans Web Star! I used those honors to leverage myself into a higher end of SW, until 2018 when SESTA/FOSTA happened. I was very vocal against this horrible legislation, knowing it would make SW more dangerous for a lot of people, but was especially worried for my Black trans sisters. When the ill passed, I stopped, moved back to Kansas, and used a lot of the skills I learned online to get a “regular” job. I kept noticing deposits into my account from a couple of sites I still sold content on, so August of 2022 I decided to come back. I have been having a blast since. I still work a very full time job managing two sushi bars, while creating content and being worshiped by all my little pets. My content game has been stepped up, and I have just begun to realize that I am an ARTIST of the highest form as well. The content I create makes me feel like a rock star and these clips are my music videos! I am having the greatest time, even if it is only part-time.
What does Pride mean to you as an LGBTQ+ adult content creator? How do you plan on celebrating this Pride month?
As a queer trans creator, I take a lot of pride that there are not a lot of other creators in my niche. I follow a lot of cis female creators and I was digging their vibe, graphics, and the niches they participated in all were something I was naturally drawn to too. It has been a major learning curve for me to make the mesmerizing mind fuck content that I do, but it has been well worth it. So even if my content did not sell, I would still make it! I would just be another starving artist. People actually enjoy my stuff, and the content is a lot more than just getting naked. I get into your mind, and together we have an experience!

How do you balance your work with your personal life and relationships, and what boundaries do you set for yourself?
Balancing work/creating/personal is honestly a struggle for me. I have been with my partner for 20 years and he gets me. If it weren’t for him, I do not think I would touch grass as much as I do. Most of my other relationships, besides my vanilla job, are online anyways. Sometimes chatting with the girls online I can be distracted for HOURS, so I am always trying to work on time management. LOL
What are some of the misconceptions people have about your work, especially as an LGBTQ+ performer?
People think that just because I am a SW that I will sleep with them. Especially if they want to “make content” with me. Then if I turn down their offer, I am dumb, STD infested, broke, stupid whore. Also, since most of the sites I participate on (which are more than I listed. Check www.linktr.ee/LolaMinaj for a full list) aren’t called ONLYFANS, they have no idea what I am talking about. They honestly think OF is the only fan platform and you have to be there to sell content.
How do you feel about the role of adult content creation in the LGBTQ+ community, and how do you see it evolving in the future?
This medium allows a lot of people who are neurodivergent, transitioning, disabled, a student or anyone really the chance to be able to financially support themselves. And as the world gets witchy and queerer, and oppressive systems are torn down, queer content will be mainstream, and cis straight content will be like the 4th or 5th tab choice. Before we get there though we have a lot more battles to fight and lose. Censorship will become stricter. The “old guard” will do a lot of underhanded dealings to stop our depravity and descent into hell. There will be tougher shadow bans, payment processors will become scarce, and ZI think in some states, arrests and straight up persecution. Then the breaking point and the pendulum will sing the other way, and it will swing hard and fast. Because of block chain, the economy will stabilize, we will have gen z taking office and changing laws and payment processors will fight over adult sites. Like we always have, sex workers will be the leaders and beta users on new social sites, Black trans women will finally get credits for the pop trends they create, and trans gooning porn has become the most profitable niche since porn was first sold!
How do you think the adult industry (including Lovense and Cam101) can become more inclusive and supportive of LGBTQ+ performers?
We are featured alongside adult-related industry news with cis folks. We are given the same opportunities to market products such as lube, toys and sites. Post op trans women should be able to perform in straight porn without the post op tag. Listen to queer creators when something is off, if a creator is violent, if a member is violent, etc. Then take correct action. Lots of time platforms in the industry do not even listen to queer performers' complaints, and if they do, they do not do anything to rectify the situation.

What are some of your favorite LGBTQ+ role models, both in and out of the adult industry, and how have they inspired you?
Mother Dion. Black Trans Woman who loves me, protected me in the streets, taught me safety and put a roof over my head. Auntie KeKe Minaj! For style, grace, and beauty! Inside the industry I love Lady Veronika Mirage, beautiful, smart and takes the haters head on. Wendy Summers, she had a lot of firsts for trans in the industry and she has thru the years been steady, consistent, analytical, and very kind! Natassia Dreams, I mean look at her, look at her career, look at those LEGS! Jesus if I was a lesbian I would be in love!
What advice would you give to someone considering entering this industry?
Understand that the industry is not all glitz and glam. There is so much work behind the scenes and independent creators wear so many hats. Sometimes you do not see the financial reward, after hours of shooting, editing, loading and promoting, you come swinging out the gate with 1 sale on that clip and you want to give up. Just keep making content. Your first one hundred pieces are going to be shitty. So will the next one hundred. But you will get it, but till then if you have a vanilla job, KEEP IT!
What are some of your dreams or goals for the future, both in your personal life and your career?
My goals for this year is to finish paying off my laser hair loans, buy some boobs, and have enough for a down payment on a house heading into 2024. I would also like to be nominated for AVN XBIZ YNOT creator award in 2024 and to be featured in the top 100 on iWantClips.
