My stream lagging
Hello collagues. My internet speed is very strong. I use cable internet, but my streaming isn't smooth and it constantly lags or freezes. And I dont know how the fix this maybe some advice or some setting options would work.

Save
You want to make sure that you don't have any back up, anti virus, or cloud drive software running while you stream. Those seem to cause the biggest issues.

I dont have any av or cloud. I recently changed my office but its so strange cause my old office had worse internet than now but never lagged. Now I use cable and there is 1 meter to my wifii and got stronger&faster connection w

Is it possible to have theese lags due my computer ? or maybe ram ? I have no clue how the fix it atm and its actually causing lose members at work

Can you plug directly into your cable modem? If so, does that solve the issue?

From your other reply, it sounds like its something to do with your new connection. Likely a setting that needs to be changed. It might be the local buffer/cache on the cable modem. If so, turn it off.

Did you perform the speedtest from Chaturbate?
It only uses the chaturbate video servers that are the closest to you so you will have an accurate representationon your upload and download speeds when using the site.
The more site you stream on the more bandwith you need, that can be the cause of your lag.
Now when streaming on multiple websites, when your internet speed isn't too good you can reduce the frame rate of each site in your OBS.
The lower the frame rate, the less speed you need.

If you stream on chaturbate, they have a link that allows you to test your internet connection against the closest streaming server for your region. (the link is on the support pages but I'll paste it for you)
